VISITS & PUBLIC RELATIONS

To act as public relations officer of MMU, involving dissemination of information to public concerning MMU and being the principal liaison arm of MMU with regards to visit to the university by international and local visitors to MMU.

• To manage all visits to MMU by high level dignitaries, institutions, media both local and international.
• Manage public relations for the university.
• To provide support for all forms of internal and external communications.
• To liaise with student affairs on all student activities and provide protocol services.
• Act as principal liaison between external parties and the President’s office on all PR matters.

Visits are divided as follows:

• Normal Visit

Example: Institutions & Universities

• VIP Visit (Hi-Level) – especially involving VIPs

Example: Embassies, Collaboration Partners, Senior Officials, Government & Corporate Bodies

How to request for a visit to MMU.

Send in an official letter via fax or email requesting for a visit. Your letter must include the following :-

• Date
• Time
• Number of participants (please also indicate who – students, lecturers, managers, directors, deans & etc)
• Clearly state the objectives of the visit
• Details of contact person

We will get back to you on the acceptance via a written confirmation by sending a letter or email.
