The existence of this unit is to facilitate purchasing of goods and services for MMU communities.  It is also responsible to ensure goods and services purchased supplied with acceptable quality, competitive price and within  the acceptable time period.  In addition,          we are also to ensure the procedure and guidelines are aligned at all times.
 
ELECTRONIC PROCUREMENT SYSTEM
 
EPS is a web-based system enables the MMU procurement activities online.  It makes easy access on the procurement process through private exchange on the web range from supplier information, products/services offered, call for quotation and online order. This system facilitates vendors' responses by sending quotations online for requests done by cost centers.  
 
User's Information
 
The procurement value allows through EPS is above RM100.00 up to RM10,000.00.  There should be three level of authorization for EPS access.
o        Entry         -   Clerical
o        Verify        -   Assistant Manager
o        Approval   -   Dean/Director/Head
 
Authorization requests could be obtained from sarimah.mdkasim@mmu.edu.my
 
Vendor's Information
 
You could participate in Electronic Procurement System upon registration with MMU.
 
COMPANY'S  REGISTRATION
 
Vendor registration is available through (EPS).  You are required to register your company online.  For new registration, please follow these steps:-
Upon completion, you will get an e-mail requires the following to be submitted to Procurement Unit in order for your company to be activated in the system:-
 
        o        Certificate of Registration Form D, Form A, Form B
        o        Memorandum and Articles of Association, Form 32A, For 9, Form 24 and Form 49
        o        Registered Certificate with Kementerian Kewangan, Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor etc.
        o        Company Profile
        o        Bank's statement (latest 3 months) / audited account.
        o        Registration fees of RM20.00
        o        Memorandum and Article of Association for Sdn. Bhd companies
 
COMPANY'S  REGISTRATION RENEWAL
 
This process needs the similar documents as new application except for Bank's statement ie only one month (instead of 3 months).
