Why MMU Alumni Society?

You may ask why you need to join us and what benefits you will get from us.

Our answer is simple - our strength lies in you. The more support we get from you the more fund we can raise and the more activities we can organize. This is where the culture of ‘giving back’ and engagement comes into the picture. Remember that your contributions today will help to shape the future of our students today and future generations.

How to Join Us as Member?

We have 4 types of memberships:

a.   Ordinary Members: All former students of Multimedia University, Malaysian citizen, above 18 years of age and living in Selangor or Melaka are entitled to become members of the Society.

b.   Life Members: Open to Ordinary Members who pay a lump sum of RM50.00. Oridinary and Life Member shall have the right to vote and be voted in any general meeting of the Society.

c.    Honorary Members: The Society can appoint a person who had given outstanding contributions to Multimedia University as the Honorary Member.

d.   Associate Members: Associate memberships are opened to all former international students of Multimedia University and all former students of Multimedia University who are Malaysian citizens, above 18 years of age and living outside Selangor and Melaka. However the members are not entitled to vote or to be voted during election. 

     The fees as follows:

          a) Ordinary membership    : RM10.00 (Ringgit Malaysia : Ten only) per annum

          b) Associate membership   : RM10.00 (Ringgit Malaysia : Ten  only) per annum

          c) Life membership   : RM50.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Fifty only) and the payment is for

             once only.                                                                             

                                  d) Honorary Members      : Nil

    We strongly encourage you to be our Life Member and pay a lifetime membership of RM50.

    However, only our Life Members are entitled a membership card with Touch N Go Facilties and Alumni exclusive souvenir every year.
